What the service is
- Page Optimized is SEO software: technical crawls, rank tracking, keyword research, backlink data, AI-search visibility, Search Console and Analytics history, content planning, workflows, and client reporting, in one workspace.
- It reports on search performance and proposes work. It does not perform that work on your website and it does not change your site.
Your account
- You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including the people you invite and the portal links you share.
- Only analyze properties, keywords, and accounts you are authorized to. Adding a domain is you telling us you have that right.
- Remove access promptly for anyone who should no longer have it. A revoked portal link stops working immediately; a person removed from a workspace loses access on their next request.
Plans and credits
- The subscription buys platform access, storage, support, and the capacity limits on your plan. Every feature works on every plan. We do not sell features as add-ons.
- Credits pay for work that costs us money to run: crawls, rank checks, keyword and backlink lookups, AI-search checks, URL inspections, and agent actions. Reading data you already have costs nothing, however often you open it.
- Estimates shown before a run are estimates. You are charged what the run actually cost, which is usually less.
- Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running to its end.
- Refunds are covered by the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
What the data can and cannot tell you
- Rankings, volumes, difficulty scores, backlink counts, and AI-search results come from third-party sources and from sampling. They are estimates. They can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong.
- AI output is generated and can be confidently incorrect. Read it before you act on it, and read it again before you send it to a client.
- We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue, citations, or inclusion in any search or answer engine. Nobody can.
Agents and automation
- Xavier can read your project and, where you allow it, create work items, tasks, and configuration. Every action is recorded with the evidence behind it.
- A workspace can require a person to approve any change an agent proposes. We recommend turning that on for client projects.
- You remain responsible for what an agent does in your workspace, including what it spends.
Fair use
- Do not resell the raw data, scrape the service, reverse engineer it, or operate it for a third party as though it were your own product, unless we have agreed that in writing.
- Do not use the service to crawl sites you have no right to crawl, or at a rate that would burden them.
- We may suspend a workspace that threatens the service or another customer, and we will tell you why.
Connected platforms
- Google, Slack, and every other platform you connect have their own terms, and their availability is not ours to promise. A change on their side can break a feature here.
- You can disconnect any of them at any time.
Liability
- The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or that every number in it is correct.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
- Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost rankings.
Changes
- We give at least thirty days notice by email before a change to these terms that materially affects you, and before a price rise on an existing plan.
- Continuing to use the service after that notice means you accept the change. If you would rather not, cancel and we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
Who can use it
- You must be at least sixteen and able to enter a contract. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have authority to bind it.
- One person, one account. Sharing a login across a team defeats the audit log and the per-person permissions, and both of those exist to protect you.
Who owns what
- You own your content: the domains you add, the keywords you choose, the briefs and reports you produce, and everything imported from accounts you connect. We claim no ownership of it.
- You grant us the licence needed to run the service — to store, process, transmit, and display your content for you and the people you share it with. That licence ends when you delete the content or close the account.
- We own the software, the interface, the documentation, and the aggregated statistics we derive from usage. Aggregated means no customer, workspace, or website is identifiable.
- Third-party data — rankings, volumes, backlink figures — is licensed to you for use in your own work and reporting. You may show it to your clients. You may not resell it as a data product.
- Feedback you send us is ours to use without obligation. We will not name you as its source without asking.
Confidentiality
- Each of us will protect the other's confidential information with at least the care we use for our own, and will not disclose it except to people who need it and are under the same obligation.
- Your workspace data is your confidential information. Our non-public pricing, roadmap, and security documentation is ours.
- This does not cover anything already public, independently developed, or lawfully received from someone else. If a court or regulator compels disclosure we will tell you first unless we are forbidden to.
Naming you as a customer
- We will not use your name or logo as a reference, in a case study, or on this website without asking you first and getting a yes in writing.
- A yes can be withdrawn. Tell us and we remove it from the next deploy.
Ending the agreement
- You can cancel at any time from inside the product. Cancelling stops the next renewal and the current period runs to its end.
- We may suspend an account for non-payment after written notice and a chance to fix it, or immediately where continued use threatens the service, another customer, or the law.
- On termination your workspace stays reachable for thirty days so you can export. After that it is deleted, apart from records we are required to keep.
- Ask for an export during those thirty days and we will produce one. Ask after and we cannot, because it is gone.
Availability
- We aim for 99.9% monthly availability and publish incidents when they happen.
- Planned maintenance is announced at least forty-eight hours ahead and scheduled outside business hours in the Americas and Europe where possible.
- Availability excludes time lost to a third-party platform you have connected, to your own network, or to an outage of a data provider we depend on. We will still tell you when one of those is why something is not working.
Disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- If we cannot settle a dispute between ourselves, it will be heard in the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and we each consent to that jurisdiction.
- Before filing anything, email support@pageoptimized.com with what is wrong and what would resolve it. We will respond within thirty days. Most things end here.
- Neither of us waives the right to seek an injunction to protect intellectual property or confidential information, in any court that can grant one.
- Nothing here removes a consumer protection you have under the law where you live.
The usual clauses
- Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something genuinely outside our control — an outage at a major cloud provider, a change in law, an act of war. We will tell you what is happening and keep telling you.
- You may not assign this agreement without our consent. We may assign it to a successor if the business is sold, and we will tell account owners before that happens.
- If a clause is unenforceable, the rest still stands and the unenforceable one is read as narrowly as it can be while still meaning something.
- Not enforcing a right once does not waive it.
- These terms, the privacy policy, and the refund policy are the whole agreement between us, and they replace anything said before them.
- Notices to you go to the email on the account. Notices to us go to support@pageoptimized.com.
